After the nuclear scan you should not be exposed to pregnant women or children for 24-48 hrs.
Drink plenty of water before as well as after the test.
No thyroid medications should be taken prior to the scan for at least 2-3weeks.
Preferably keep yourself isolated for a day.
Nothing else to worry about.
