Received below analysis for MRI Fistulogram and need help in understanding if I need a surgery.
Analysis : Focal small abscess seen in left side of the gluteal cleft measuring 17 x 18 x 20 mm,
~ 3cc just below the coccyx with focal sinus track extending from skin to
subcutaneous region for maximum length 23 mm
The ischioanal and ischiorectal fossae appear normal bilaterally.
No evidence of fistula or abscess noted in the perianal region.
The anal canal appears normal.
The internal and external sphincters appear normal.
The levator ani muscle appears normal on both sides.
Urinary bladder and urethra are normal.
