Neck pain after shoulder injury
Friday evening, I fell and tried to catch myself by holding onto a door frame. On the way down, I heard a ripping sound in my shoulder. Since then, the pain has decreased and mobility is better, but this afternoon my neck (same side as shoulder) has began to dully ache, fairly badly. Is the pain in my neck related in some way to the shoulder injury?

As you fell, you may have pulled or sprained a muscle which is connected to both your shoulder and neck. Use ice packs and painkillers and keep the movement in the shoulder. The pain will gradually get better.
