Neck lump/swelling
I have had for last 4 days a large swelling from right ear down side of face to neck. It is tender to touch and stiff when eating etc. I have seen GP but not consoled with consultation. She thought it could be a stone blocking gland but no treatment and a months wait for scan. I did have to insist on a thyroid function blood test for rapidly thinning hair, neck fat and waist increase combined with tiredness/lack of energy. Is there a quicker more thorough route to proper diagnoses please.
