I'm having nails clubbing and its increasing. My echo and abdomen ultrasound came to be normal. My vitamin D came to be 9.8. Is there any relation between the two.

Nail clubbing maybe due to many reasons - pathological or idiopathic. There is no relation between nail clubbing & Vitamin D deficiency. Consult a physician for nail clubbing evaluation. You could start - C. D Rise 60k - 0-0-1 (after dinner), Once a Week for 8 weeks, followed by Once a month for 6 months, for Vitamin D deficiency.

Hello there.  I can understand your concern.  Clubbing has many causes. Most common causes could be divided into pathological and idiopathic. Idiopathic means no cause is known, pathological could be related most commonly to lung diseases and heart diseases. Therefore get yourself checked out by a MD consultant physician in person. Vitamin D3 deficiency doesnt have any relation to Clubbing as such. But d3 correction is necessary. Tab. D3 must 60k to be chewed once a week for 12 weeks and after that once in 15 days for 6 months. Get adequate sun exposure daily and have a healthy diet. Best regards. Dr. Anil kumar jain. Bangalore.
