Myringotomy with grommets
If Myringotomy is done, it is going to take longer for reestablishment of normal ear physiology - What does it mean by this? Should I then remove the grommets to relieve my ear fullness?

Myringotomy with grommet procedure is done for a condition known as otitis media with effusion. In this procedure small incision is made in the tympanic membrane and a tube known as grommet is inserted so that it communicates between external and middle ear. Grommet will stay for few months to a year usually will dislodge on its own. Your symptoms should be better in few days to a week
