My mother bedsore
My mother is getting a bedsore on her back..can you pls suggest me what to do as she is having progressive supranuclear parkinsons

1. Use an air bed which keeps changing pressure. It is automatic and helps in the long run . 2. Constant change of position every 2 hours especially in the night. This is the time where the patient remains in one position since no one is awake to help shift position. 3. In the day time, when the patient is sitting you could make the patient sit a ring (tube). Make sure the impending area of ulcer is in the centre of the round ring and the butt is resting on the rim. 4. If an ulcer has already developed then you need a dermatologist to visit you to see the extent of the damage and treat accordingly. Hope this helps.
