My lips is becoming extremely dry

Asked for Female, 23 Years

Last week I had braces on my lower part of my teeth.after some days my lips started getting extremely dry and flaky.even if I tried moisturizing with lip balm/coconut oil but still it's not working and it is swollened also..I don't know whether it is because of the braces or any allergy.plz suggest what should I do now?
