My 5 months boy is not attatched with me

Asked for Female, 24 Years

Am worried that my 5 months son is not attatched with me, he is on top feed from day 1, when he cries he doesn't stop crying when i try to do so, but he calms in my husband's hand or in my mother in law's lap. I feel very depressed because of this, why it is so and how can i help it? Will he ever recognise me as his mother like all the kids who are always near to their mummas.
