Dear Doctors,
I have been experiencing backache and knee pain for a while now. After consulting a doctor, I took Shelcal and Joint Complex Q10 for a month, which provided slight improvement. However, I now feel that the discomfort is more due to stiffness or inflammation. I was also informed that I have hypermobile joints.
I often feel the need to stretch my back and knees, and I hear a clicking sound when I do so. Is there a permanent solution to this issue?
Thanks for your time and response.

Hello, there seem to be multiple aspects to your complaints. Hypermobility is a non- inflammatory joint related issue while inflammatory joints have a different pathophysiology altogether. To differentiate between these, a thorough clinical examination & some relevant tests may help. For this it is best to see a Rheumatologist. In addition, muscle strengthening exercises could help. All the best.
