Usually symptomatic fibroids i.e. The one's that cause excessive bleeding or produces lots of pain during menses or shortens your menstrual cycle, requires management. If you are menopausal (your menses have stopped) you just need to do Sonography regularly (every 6 months to 1 year) just to check the size of fibroids.
