Mucus in stool
Hello Dr Saurabh sir but I have asked the doctor who give the antibiotic he told loose stool and little whitish mucus is normal after antibiotic please reply me next step sir

Mucus will be seen in stools after consumption of antibiotics only when the normal bowel flora ( bacteria ) gets altered by it. It commonly happens after a prolonged antibiotic course and because of some specific antibiotics I did not mention it previously because your history suggests only 2 days of antibiotic consumption If you have stopped the dosage and if you are not having the mucus discharge then there is nothing to worry about I hope this answers your doubt
