MRI to detect colon problem.
Hi doctor, pls help me,..    Is Abdomen MRI good at detecting Colon Cancer or any other color problems? Or only colonoscopy only detect it.

I would advise Colonoscopy because one can take biopsy if there is any lesion. Even if CECT abdomen shows any lesion in colon, Colonoscopy is needed. If Colonoscopy and biopsy are reported as cancer, CECT abdomen will show if there is any spread in liver and peritoneal cavity.
