  4. MRI contrast. Is involved in this?

Hi Sir/Madam, What is meant by MRI contrast of lumbar spine? Is it painful? How it will be done, I heard it needs to inject something. Is it just one time injection before scan Or fluid which needs to be given throughout the scan? It will be given to hand? Any invasive procedure is involved in this? My mother is advised to have this, please give me these details, just want to know before having it.

Injection is given once before procedure. Minimal pain during injecting. That’s it
