MPV high in CBC
I have got CBC test done today. while everything else was with in normal range, MPV came slightly high (13.5 fl). What does it mean? Is it something to worry? Please see that I have been suffering from Acute Tonsillopharyngitis and taking Allegra (120), Pan(40) and Augmentin(625) since last 5 days.

Slight variation in one of the tests in CBC is not much of worry. It is correlated with other factors such as hemoglobin and other related tests. You can continue taking medications as per doctor's order
