Mouth ulcers for my wife
Hi ...my wife (age26), having rhabdomyosarcoma (cancer) in nose... Having chemotherapy as well as radiation... chemotherapy completed 4 cycles and stopped chemo and started radiation for 28 fractions ..now the problem is she is suffering with mouth ulcers to upper toung n sides of mouth upper n lower ...she is not at eating anything , giving totally liquids ..she is very weak , we are doing. She is doing daily gurgle with salt water n honey wth. Coconut water, she is taking food like curd rice , apple juice, ors liquids, coconut water , ambali, raagi jaava, am unable to see her like this , so please can you suggest me what should I do to clean mouth ulcers... please do needful..

Hi.... Follow these steps.... use a soft toothbrush to brush your teeth...use a toothpaste that doesn’t contain sodium lauryl sulphate, as this may be irritating... avoid hard, spicy, salty, acidic or hot food and drink until the ulcer heals.... If necessary, you may be prescribed a course of stronger corticosteroids to help reduce pain and swelling, and speed up healing....
