Mother Severe abdominal pain
My mother is 48 years old and has been having severely severe stomach pain, burping, and mild loose motions since yesterday morning. The pain is not stopping even after taking Pantosec DSR, Esomeprazole 40 mg, and Meftal Spas; please advise on what we should do next.

Better to consult a gastroenterologist & investigate the condition as it is persisting even after medications.
Next Steps
Ultrasound of abdomen & other investigations as per gastroenterologist advise

Online now
Stomach pain with burping and loose motions often points to gastritis or an acid flare, but pain that isn't easing despite Pantosec DSR, esomeprazole and Meftal Spas, and has now lasted over a day, needs an in-person look rather than more home medicine. A gallbladder or pancreas problem can present this way too, and these medicines won't touch that.
Next Steps
Please visit a general physician or gastroenterologist today for an examination, likely with blood tests and an abdominal ultrasound, since the pain isn't responding as expected.
Health Tips
Go to the emergency department now if she gets high fever, repeated vomiting, blood in vomit or stool, or can't keep fluids down.
