It depends on a lot of factors. Firstly what is the kind of scars that you are having. How deep are they. What is the size of the scars. Scars can be improved by 60 to 80 percent with carbon dioxide laser resurfascing. Platelet rich plasma therapy or dermaroller can also be used for the same.
