Mometasone Furoate cream and Glaucoma
My dermatologist has prescribed me Mometasone Furoate cream to treat skin fold rashes and itching due to allergic reaction induced by rhinitis. I am a glaucoma suspect. Is the cream safe to use when applied to arm folds and arm pits? Can it increase eye IOP? I am already using flucticasone nasal spray for my rhinitis.

Please ask your dermatologist if an alternative drug could be prescribed, as steroids are known to worsen glaucoma if you are a steroid responder.
