Molluscum Contagiosum
Sir, My child is about to complete 2 years of age on 28 the November..he has started developing molluscum contagiosum on his fore head and near by eyes and nose and the same was confirmed by our routine doctor of him where we take him for normal check up and vaccination. We maintain very hygienic conditions at home and it's a surprise for us that how this virus has infected him. Doctor had said that not to be worried as it's very common disease and will go away by its own. He has not suggested any medicine and just have asked to sentize his hands three times a day. We have started feeling offlate that the spots are increasing day by day and he child had also started rubbing them which looks as if it's causing irritation. Please guide us and let us know that till what time will it vanish and what else should we do. Please let us know that how common this disease is and what are the complications involved. Thanks Ankur Sharma
