Molluscum contagiosum, the name says it all: contagiosum meaning contagious, infectious! Gynecologist is misinformed When Pediatrician meant surgical treatment after topical cream fails, it is curetting (scooping out whitish cheesy material after applying local anesthetic cream to decrease pain) or cryotherapy (which is near painless)
Next Steps
Confirm whether molluscum contagiosum or something else: it typically got central umblication (dimpling): even search internet for images of same
Health Tips
it spreads by direct contact: so if you delay treatment, the more the number of lesions, the more you will be (painfully) charged
