Modalert with Xanax (Alprazolam)
I'm on a daily dosage of Modalert 200mg which I have early in the morning. But due to I'm suffering from social anxiety, I've opted to add Xaxas (alprazolam) to my intake. Is the a good combination? Will both the drugs do its work respectively?

Modafinil causes alertness and decreases sedation. While Alprazolam increases sedation. Both have opposite actions. Modafinil will decrease the level and effects of Alprazolam by altering drug metabolism. So combination of these drugs is NOT good. Apart from this, Alprazolam is habit forming drug. It is not advisable to take Alprazolam for long time.
