Modafinil Overdose
Doctor prescribed me to take Modafinil 100mg for 2 months. What is the maximum amount of Modafinil a person should consume in a day. What will happen if someone takes 2 grams of Modafinil? I took 300gm accidentally because after consuming second dose in mid-day I forgot to remember that I took it and then took again. Not sure what's next now what will happen?

Doses up to 400 mg/day, given as a single dose, have been well tolerated, but there is no consistent evidence that this dose confers additional benefit beyond that of the 200 mg/day dose. Adverse reactions reported at higher doses included excitation or agitation, insomnia, and slight or moderate elevations in hemodynamic parameters. Other observed high-dose effects in clinical studies have included anxiety, irritability, aggressiveness, confusion, nervousness, tremor, palpitations, sleep disturbances, nausea, diarrhea, and decreased prothrombin time.
