My wife has been diagnosed with missed abortion , she is around 8 week now. Gestation period shows 6 week in report. Now which is best suitable method for removal. Doctor suggested for both D&C and by medication. Which one will be safe. Please guide

Hi, doctor would have explained both the procedure in detail. Tablets method needs a follow up, pain and bleeding will be little more than the periods, have to get a scan done after 2 weeks.Minimal chance of retained products and may require D & C, but less expensive. D & C may not require all these, but expensive, needs anaesthesia and hospital admission.
