Mirena coil for first time
Hi
I had 2 C-section deliveries. I am having heavy and painful periods now after 8 months of last delivery. Periods are long also. Pelvic organ scan which says sign of Adenomyosis, pcod on both overies and endometrium thickness 13.9 on 72day of period when i am still bleeding.
My dr now suggested to go for Mirena coil to let the problem not increase any more.
Can you help me with ur opinion on this. Will my periods be normal after inserting this coil. On which day of my cycle will they insert thia coil. Will intercourse be painful after this?

D&C followed by Mirena insertion under anaesthesia will be able to control your menorrhagia problem. It will not cause pain during Intercourse.
