Minimal hydronephrosis Lt kindney 4mm
My baby is 4 month old & weight of 6 kg. He urinate interval of 30 min with no problem. He drink 500 ml milk(formula+mother) everyday. He has antenatal bilateral hydronephrosis before birth..I attached his usg report.. Plz analysis it nd tell I should wait nd follow up usg or having any critical problems??

This is mild hydronephrosis and as such doesn’t need any medication or surgery right now However you do need to do serial ultrasounds . Initially you can repeat 3 monthly till baby is one year of age and thereafter 6 mthly till the condition resolves. Although extremely unlikely in your case , but during the follow up if there is increase in the severity of the hydronephrosis, then further evaluation needs to be done
