Hello. You can continue giving cow milk if he doesn’t have any digestion issues with it. Please stop breastfeeding- it’ll prevent proper solid food intake. Make sure you give him 3-4 proper meals with solid food.

Hi, Yes , you can give milk about 200- 250 ml per day. Iron content in milk is low, but it will not hamper iron absorption. Calcium inhibit iron absorption in case of supplements not in case of food. There are others food which can provide iron, like different leafy vegetables, soyabean, channa dal, dates, jaggery or egg, liver( if you are non vegetarian). But one thing need to understand that iron from animal source are more bioavailable than plant source.

Hello Few more details needed before I advise, like status of weaning- meals, amount and varieties you offer. Now few weaning meals need to be rich in iron. Milk allowance will depend of how well you are breastfeeding and what’s all your baby is consuming entire day. Consult me or any qualified dietitian personally. Regards
