Mild pain left palm

Yesterday night I experienced mild intermittent pain in my left palm (bottom middle portion) . This pain was very mild and last for 30 second and it goes away..after few minutes it again arises. This pain was only in one point only and it was not propagated. When I got up today morning there was no pain. I dint understand reason for this pain. Is it related to heart problem.

Doesn't look like a cardiac pain If you are a software engineer it could be a start of carpal tunnel or some other syndrome Consult a physician
