Mild fissure issue since long
Ive been suffering from fissure. Showed to the Surgeon, told it to be mild fissure ,but its continued since around SIX months. Tried sitz bath, stool softener -creamafinn plus etc ,applied ointment xylocaine 5% and now diltigesic 2% using. No pain but mild burning sensation for 5-7 min after stool and after long sitting through day. What is reason and possible solution ?

Greetings! This is a condition called chronic anal fissure. The break in the mucosa doesn’t heal completely due to the constant exposure to frictional force caused by reduced anal opening and passing hard stools. Need complete dietary, defecation habits evaluation and examination of fissure to decide upon further treatment options. Thank you Dr.R.Ramprakash MS(General surgery), FIAGES
