Swelling in nerve at back of ear causing unconsciousness while moving neck and pain.
MRI Report on 27-05-2021 saying below:
Impression:
Asymmetric enhancement of the facial neve, right enhancing more than the left, in following
locations: Facial hiatus, fallopian canal, geniculate ganglion, tympanic and descending
mastoid segment.
In view of nodular appearance of the enhancement near the facial hiatus and mild
thickening of rest of the segments of the nerve, possibility of pseudotumoral hypertrophic
neuritis of the right facial nerve seems more likely than facial schwannoma.
History:
When steroid (wyslon) treatment was on he was very normal but after stopping medicine 1 week after same pain.
Any lead will be helpful.
