Hello, is it irregular or it has regular gap of 40-45 days, there are several causes for irregular periods like PCOS, hypothyroidism, reproductive tract infections, fibroids, anemia, stress, etc first you need to rule out whether you have any of the above conditions, please consult a gynecologist.
