Menstruation problem
I am havubg periods since 19th july.. It's not overflowing but it is continuous. I have consulted a doctor and he prescribed registrone but there is no improvement. This is the 1st time I m facing such issues and i m very scared. Please suggest. And why is this happening

Hello get ultrasound abdomen complete haemogram pt aptt time done harmone analysis like fsh lh progesterone done get endometrial biopsy done and finally rule out Cervical polyp and also cea levels and later consult good gynaecologist and decide bye

Menorrhagia is the medical term for menstrual periods with abnormally heavy or prolonged bleeding....possible causes are polyps, fibroids,ovarian dysfunction,. Some blood coagulation disorders — such as von Willebrand's disease etc...Consult nearest gynecologists for clinical examination and for labarotary investigations they will do the needful.

I can understand your concern. you have been menstrutating for over a month you mean to say? then what are you doing here. you have to get it checked out. if she gave you registrone and it didn't work, then you have to revert back to her . this is called "Follow up". best regards, Dr. Anil kumar jain. Hi there...I can understand your concern. Irregular menstrual cycles can be due to many reasons like anaemia, thyroid disorders, pcod, fibromas, stress, drug intake. You will need detailed clinical examination and further investigations including ultrasound abdomen and pelvis, hormonal profile. So kindly consult a gynaecologist for further evaluation.
