Hi. Forgetfulness in kids at this age can be attributed to multiple things. He will need complete psychological evaluation and the underlying psychopathology hs to be understood. Inattention can be due to low intellect, ADHD or even depression. Only after diagnosing the cause, a treatment plan can be suggested.
