Medrol 16mg is high dose?

Asked for Female, 27 Years

I was prescribed medrol 16 mg daily once for 5 days.I took it for 3 days and stopped because I had history of depression so my doctor advised to stop it.Is it a high dose?Does it require tapering if used for 3 days ?After stopping it iam feeling pain on body when I touch the pain is like when we take injection how the site pains the pain is like tgat(note I did not take any injection just explaining how the pain us)and feeling itch .I was in close contact with my baby who was given mmr+OPV live vaccine just before a day I started medrol 16 mg steroid .
