I had 2 ecg done last year which showed prolonged qtc levels, both lower than 500
Ms though... after that I had several ecg done and stress test.. Could not find any doctor in my city and for this problem so I went to Delhi n consulted an EP dere. She had a look at all my ecgs, asked about family history ( no sudden deaths) personal history ( no syncope) and after looking at my qtc in 8-9 ecgs she said that I may not have it and even if I had theres very low risk of going into TDP
now she suggested me genetic testing for confirmation but that tests will take around 1-2 months easily
Till than What should I do. I mean I have to take medications for some other issues like domperidone . Shall I stop those medications then? Will taking doses of that put me at risk for arrythmias? The EP told not take unprescibed drugs but these meds are important to control other symptoms

Share your ECGs. I agree that you should not take unprescribed drugs as many drugs are known to prolong qt. If you need any medicines for any other complaints get it comfirmed by a cardiologist about its safety. Do not take any medicines on your own
