I am having vaginal infection (which i guess is yeast infection) and my doctor prescribed me some medicines such as Omez D, which later i found out that its usually for chestpain due to acidity(google) and i ain't suffering from such things. Is it okay to take this medicine or should i stop immediately?

Hello, I went through your query. Most of the times these drugs are used to prevent gastritis which is usually a side effect of NSAIDS (painkillers), or some antibiotics or antifungal agents. So if your doctor as prescribed this medicine (omez-d) along with other medicines then please continue this tablet as long you take other tablets.
