I had an accident in July 2022 and then I had head surgery. I want to ask you that I have been taking this medicine (Brivacetam 50 mg) since then and for how long will this medicine last for me and is there any sexual effect from taking it? Will there be side effects or not? I have been taking this medicine since July 2022.

1. How severe was the head injury
2. Did you have seizures(fits) at the time of head injury
3. Was any CT/ MRI of brain done ; if yes what were the findings
If brivaracetam was given as prophylactic (preventive) measure it can be stopped 3 weeks after head injury; but if given as treatment you may need to take it Upto 3 yrs or beyond.
Kindly consult the doctor who has prescribed it or a Neuro physician
