Please give me a proper answer I need to know as I have been prescribed this amitone 10 mg (amitriptyline hydrochloride) at night and now due to throat infection and nose block I been prescribed this allercet DC (Cetirizine hydrochloride and phenylephrine hydrochloride) at night ,amitone is also at night I also kept gap between the two but I had this headache next morning and light chest pain can it be due to medicine interaction.i won't cause problem I took it once although there was a gap of 1to 1 hr 30 min.i didn't take the next dose

Yes, Never take together , Take tab. Allercite DC at 7pm only for 5 days and Stop. You can continue Tab.Amitrip ar 10pm as per doctor advice
