Medicine doubt
Been prescribed meftal 500mg but I have heard that one is for menstrual problem I told doctor I have weird feel and pain in tongue. And also found info online that it may cause heart attack stroke. Kindly advise. Can I substitute it with paracetamol instead?

Meftal contains mefenemic acid and generally a safe drug used for mild pain and fever. If you are worried about its side effects then you can replace it with paracetamol
