Patches are excellent way of delivering drugs into the system ..reducing a lot of side effects like GI etc. Patches usually release drugs at a very controlled and slower rate to maintain a certain level. But I would like to know why are you on pain medications and how severe is the pain, like on a scale of 1 to 10. 10 being most severe. And what investigations were done.
Next Steps
you can keep the patch for 72 hours when the pain is severe.
Health Tips
fentanyl is last resort medication for pain relief. So if your pain can be managed with simple medications ..no need to go on it. caution_ dependence issue.
