What are the chances of medical abortion infection i do read that there is very rare case of infection in medical abortion.. If there is what are the symptoms of infection ??how to know the difference between infection and a complete abortion.. Is there any antibiotics to prevent infection please name them

Hi!
Yes there are chances of infection after termination but thats rare.
if you develop infection you might have fever as a sign or an abnormal foul smelling discharge.
for antibiotics please visit the consultant!

Antibiotics are not routinely given i patients of medical abortion. In infection, there may be foul smelling discharge, fever, pain. I suggest that instead of trying to make a diagnosis yourself, it's always better to see a Gynaecologist when in doubt
