Maralgia paresthetica
I have problem associated with maralgia parest... Pain in my inner thigh front of thigh and side of thigh n sometime in my back of thigh also...bt most of pain happen in my inner thigh which starts from my groin most of Time. Pain is worst when am sleeping and sitting. Sleeping is more difficult for me now a days. And when my hip is pressed than pain is goes in side of thigh. Pain is not too much bt all time irritating me n sometime pain is also in my scrotum also. I have Dn with scrotum usg and all blood test. Abdomen usg all reports comes normal...so plz advice me is that problem associated with maralgia parest or something as??? Am taking Physio also bt not relief..so plz advice..Thx and one more thing I want to do mri so which parts of body is undergoes in mri in medical term which give confirmations that I have mara paresthetica???

Sir pain due to meralgia paresthetica may or may not be confirmed using MRI , has per your explanation PAIN may be caused by nerve root compression which may be at the level of spine or may be from tightness of some soft tissue structures like muscles or ligaments around your hip joint so better get evaluated by a Physiotherapist before going to a MRI and get treated thank you

Hi....., Meralgia paresthetica is a neurological condition characterized by pain or numbness along the outer thigh...., this disorder is caused by trauma or compression to the lateral femoral cutaneous nerve, which travels from the thigh to the spinal cord.... Treatment for meralgia paresthetica focuses on relieving compression of the nerve.... Consult Physician.......
