I am very sensitive to perfumes in anything. 2 months ago a guy at work blasted a container of scented talcum powder in the air. I inhaled some before I could get out of the building. 2 days later I started coughing up a lot of brown mucous, off and on fever. Over time the mucous became tan then gray and less frequent. Until this morning. Now it has increased and looks like blood in it.

You are having a hyper reactive airway disease. So you are very sensitive to perfumes etc., similarly on exposure to that blast you inhaled some particles which causes symptoms. This is reactive airway dysfunction syndrome. Symptoms will be similar to asthma. It has to be investigated thoroughly with a chest x ray and if necessary a ct scan is required. After investigations correct treatment plan can be executed. Better to consult a pulmonologist for complete evaluation and management.
