Lump after tetanus injection
I had a nail cut on the back of my ankle in october. but I didn't treat it until it made my leg swell up so I had to go for a tetanus injection. After the injection it healed up. But later in January I noticed a lump on my buttocks where I took the injection and it pains me. It developed into something like a boil so I took ampicillin and the boil healed up but the lump is still there and it pains me a lot. So I need an advice on what to do.

The injection site might have developed a granuloma. You can try anti inflammatory tablets for a couple of weeks to subside the granuloma. Or else if it is deep it might have to be surgically excised. Or else a local steroid injection (sonography guided) can be given locally into the swelling to subside it. You can speak to your surgeon about it. Hope this is helpful.
