Low Vitamin D Level
My Vitamin D, 25 - HYDROXY(Serum) level was found out to be 17.5ng/ml (Insufficient) on 30/05/2016. I was given the injection Arachitol 6lacs IM (gluteal)stat Prior to the test had immense weakness and was unable to move for 24hours after physical activity of self defence classes. Also have been recommended calicrol sachet For 12 weeks once a Week. Are these medecines enough or more injections are needed ?

Hello, inj for vit D are not required. You can take calcirol sachet 60,000 IU once a week for 6 weeks. Kindly take Tab.Cramnil 360 mg ( magnesium biglycinate) one tablet on alternate day during these 6 weeks so that high doses of vit D should not precipitate Magnesium deficiency. These medications will be sufficient..
