Hi. I have low facial hair. Can i use minoxidil for it? And I want to know if high testosterone level cause low facial hair (as in male pattern baldness).

Hi. Greetings. You have been ill informed - high testosterone levels does not cause male pattern baldness or low facial hair. People with Male pattern baldness have same amount of testosterone as any other normal male. However, low testosterone levels and lack of secondary sexual development can cause low facial hair in men. But low facial hair could occur due to genetic and hereditary factors and may be low in some men with normal testosterone levels. Minoxidil may be worth a try to improve facial hair.
