Loose stools
My son is 6 and a half years old. He had an upset stomach about 3 and a half weeks ago and was treated with antibiotics and probiotics. He was doing well and in the mean time I have started his usual diet with milk fruits and occasional eggs. But he had loose stools twice yesterday. He doesn't have any stomach pain or vomiting and is very active. I am also giving him Bournvita. Should I discontinue milk products? As he had exams next week could you please advice any medicine for loose stools that works fast.

You can try avoiding milk and see whether he is having milk intolerance. If you're thinking of milk allergy which Will not happen so late. You should continue your regular diet and whatever trial and error you want to do of milk can be considered after his exam. Allergy testing will help you to rule out the cause. For one or 2 isolated motions he doesn't need medicine. Still you can give any prebiotic you have at home as you were giving him earlier.
