Loose motions with lot of mucus
Hello dr,my baby has loose motions since 5 days , daily 3 or 4 times, and along with lot of mucus in stool.i consulted pediatrician,she is under antibiotics, when medicine is stopped again she is suffering with motions,what is the reason for this? kindly share tests required for treatment.

Age of the child ? Is the child on Bottlefeeding ? Does the child have fever ? Dietary History is also needed.

Loose motions can persist for a bit longer especially in the current Adenovirus outbreak. My suggestion will be to take care of hydration and if that is okay not to worry too much. I assume that the child is more than 6 months old.
