This is day 3 of loose motions. He was having fever as Weill for 4 days. Now it is not there. But daily 3-4 episodes of loose motions.
Please suggest. I am currently giving enterogerma and ORS tettra pack. Should I start antibiotics? Is black coffee with lemon effective on this? No cold and cough. Age 3.9 years weight 12 kgs

Hi, continue with ORS and probiotics ( Enterogermina total for 5 days ). Now If fever was controlled and no dysentery then no need for antibiotics. Black coffee etc not needed. Just give adequate amount of fluids to prevent dehydration enough.

Mix 200ml of water with 1 sachet of ORS, and sips as tolerated.
things to follow
1. Give home food. No spicy, oily or junk food.
2. Avoid outside food intake
3. No snacks (packaged, high sugar/salt content)
4. Keep a watch on any signs of dehydration(less urine output,blood in stool,fever,child is dull)
