Lipoprotein levels ideally should be below 30 and more than 50 is considered as high risk. So it comes under intermediate risk. Lipoprotein indicates your overall lifetime risk irrespective of your diet and exercise.  Unfortunately,  till date, there is no proven mechanism to reduce lipoprotein A levels which has shown practical benefits. There are lot of noise and claims to have shown benefit. But if you go by true evidence based medicine, none has shown benefit. Be reassured. Follow good habits like regular exercise and good diet.

regular exercise and low fat diet
